Tom Etzel
Board Member

Tom was raised on a Century Farm 6 miles east of Stayton on Fern Ridge Road.  He and his wife, Sharon, recently built a home on a piece of that farmland.  He graduated from Regis High School, and he and his wife have always lived in this community. Tom worked for the City of Stayton for 31 years and retired in 2021. After retiring, he took a part-time position with St. Mary's Church in Shaw as their Building and Grounds Maintenance, which he is still doing.  
 
Tom has served on several Boards and Committees over the years, including:

• North Santiam School Board Budget Committee for one year.  
• Regis High School Board for three years.
• Sublimity Fire Budget Committee for two years.
• Sublimity Fire Board for eight years.
• Stayton Budget Committee for five years.

Tom looks forward to being a part of the Stayton Fire District and serving on the board and for this community.
