The Fire District is governed by a five-member citizen Board of Directors, with members serving four-year terms. A person must reside or own property within the District boundaries to be eligible.
The Board members are elected by the citizens of the District. As your elected representatives, they are responsible for considering every policy decision and ensuring it reflects your best interests.
All Fire District Board meetings are open to the public. The agenda is posted at the Stayton Post Office, Stayton City Hall, and Stayton Fire Station on the Friday before each Board Meeting.

Regular Meeting Schedule
The Board of Directors meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM. All regular meetings are scheduled at the Stayton Station.
