Serve with Purpose. Volunteer as an EMS or Rehab Responder.
Are you looking for a way to give back to your community, gain valuable skills, and be part of something bigger than yourself? Volunteering with Stayton Fire District as an EMS or Rehab Responder offers a meaningful challenge, hands-on training, and a deep sense of camaraderie.
As part of our team of dedicated volunteers, you’ll learn life-saving techniques, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and provide critical support during emergencies — all while making a direct impact on your community.
EMS and Rehab Responder Program Options
We offer two unique non-firefighting volunteer tracks for those interested in emergency medical response or support services:- EMS-Only Responder
Provides medical assistance during Emergency Medical Services (EMS) calls, motor vehicle accidents, and fire incidents. EMS Responders focus on patient care, medical assessment, and on-scene treatment. - Rehab Responder
Responds to extended emergency incidents to support the health and safety of first responders working at the scene. Rehab Responders provide hydration, cooling, nourishment, and medical monitoring to personnel during physically demanding operations.
